Looks like an update to internet explorer is not liking my username load script. That is the thing that puts your name in the Name: box. I will have to see if I've made a mistake in the code that can be easily fixed. Sometimes you can write something that works fine and yet may not conform to a rule that suddenly microsoft will enforce for whatever reason. I can't duplicate it, so it must be just on the version you are using. No one else has mentioned it either but most of the community uses Firefox, Google Chrome and older versions of IE now I think.
I'll look at the code and see if I have an obvious standards violation. If so, it will fix itself. For tonight, if you pop over to modern, you shouldn't have that problem, it has completely different scripts that do the same things.
Also, it's a little suspicious that all forums aren't acting the same, could be something important there about what someone is posting that triggers it. I'll try to figure it out. |

| | Thanks Chris but I think it must have fixed itself or more likely was a glitch in the window I had open. I closed the window then went to another site; closed that window and came back here and all was fine. I will let you know if it comes back later. Thanks John |

| | Look at page 2 on the Ford forum, that will tell me if it was actually somehow in the content that people had there, and now it's rolled off to the second page. Thanks, Chris |

| | I went to page 1; 2; 3; 4; of the Ford page and all seems well. I can not get it to duplicate now on any page. Must have been a lost bug that has found his way threw the maze and got home. Sorry for the extra work but it seems fine now. I do notice that my user name comes up in the box some times and does not other times. You can tell the differance in my post when this happens because I type in John in La but if it comes up automatic it puts in John in la |

| | For the final post, it uses the name as you originally entered it. So if you type "john in la", it should submit the post as "John in LA", if the latter is how you put it in originally. If it's not how you want it, let me know and I can fix the case of a username for you. Thanks |
