I just finished a rather drawn out post on the FORD forum describing the differences between rowcrop, all purpose and utility models! For whatever reason the potty filter kicked it back! I tried to back up to correct it, but it was GONE! What's up with that???

Thanks for anything you can do Chris!

Really do enjoy the forum and all that you and Miss Kim do!

Just an FYI, I was on "Modern View" when it happened! (That's where I normally browse and post) HTH

Thanks again, Dave

Hey Dave,

I've learned to highlight and copy my posts before submitting. Then, if kicked out, just right click and paste to look for the problem..

That changes it from my end. Our new forum software fixes that because it does save it so you can get back your previous post even if you logout and back in. That isn't in yet though will be within this month I hope.

Thanks,

Chris

On classic, that's happened to a few people in the past and it's unfortunate. I never see it and I'm assuming it has to do with how the specific browser keeps history and cache. In other words, your browser goes out for a real page load on the back arrow rather than getting the locally stored copy which has all your typed in form on your pc. It's related to that old classic view software.

I might be able to work around that by changing the filter to return you to the post page. Then the server will keep your copy rather than having to depend on the browser cache or history settings which do change with updates and can be affected by your security software in a the case of some companies. I never thought of this before but I'm working on that program now. I'll push this in today or tomorrow.

Sorry it happened,

Chris
