How do I drain the gear oil on my old troybuilt horse tiller. I know I fill it under the t-handle and check the level ont he side of the transmission but where do I drain it????? |

| Mine has a drain plug at the bottom of the gear box. |

| there should be a drain plug on the trans housing on the opposite side from the level plug. Also one under the tine drive shaft but its harder to getto. To drain the tine shaft gears take off the left side tine assembly and remove the bottom cover bolt with an allen wrench. |

I've got one of those tillers also. I think the only way to drain the gear box is to remove the check plug and then lay the tiller over on its side. |
