| You will need a special flywheel wrench that fits behind the flywheel. E-bay usually had them. Or maybe a couple universal joints may work. On the block, make sure the oil line to the tappets is disconnected. Are the 4 bolts underneath out,and the ones on the side? Try a pry bar between the frame and the underside of the block to work it loose.A little PB Blaster may help. Ron Mn |

| If you have dowels on that tractor they may be the problem. If you're using a suitable hoist to lift the engine you could sway the block from side to side easily so don't break anything. You also may need to support the rear of the tractor under the drawbar to keep it from flipping backwards once the engine is pulled. You may see a slight opening at the dowels from the swaying and you can use a pinch bar or big screwdriver to move the engine off the dowels. I would use lubri-plate on the dowels when reinstalling the engine. Hal |
