old 08-14-2012 19:35:50 209.86.226.40 Report to Moderator	Well #1 throwing parts at it is not the way to go you make more problems then you fix. First off pull the cap and rotor and dust cover. Turn the ignition on and open and close the points by hand. You should both hear and see a spark. If you do not then turn it off then pull the ignition side wire off the coil turn it on then touch the wire back to the coil then off again. Do you see a spark?? If yes and the points are closed open them and try again. With them open if you have spark the short if from the coil in. If no spark with them open or closed the points have a protective coating and it needs cleaned off [Reply]   [No Email]
