| inside the front cover or one of the 2 you can see,,,,,when engine is running there is no force on the governor arm at all,when you rev it up that arm should push back with resistance right,,,, |

| spent the hole day on this tractor found the tab on the governor cone was not in right place,put back together still dont work but i do now have force pushing on governor shaft as soon as i hook up rod to carb it runs way to fast nothing is binding i think the compensating spring may be wrong,its vary stiff,and the governor can not pull it im getting a new one and trying that,,,does anyone have a pic of were that tab goes on the cone my book says put tab at 8 oclock ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,what should it ride on,,,,,,,, |

| ok this thing is getting the sledge hammer soon ,,,i start the motor,disconnect the throttle rod ,hold the governor forward and it pushes my hand like crazy,put the throttle rod on and it will not push it to a idle,it idles but if i pull the throttle at all it revs to the moon,,,,,, with no responce from the govener i dont get it the rod to the throttle plate moves free,there is no reason it wont push the throttle rod back,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, |
