Hi all,
I am new to the forum. Great place, it has a lot of great info. My dad has an older JD 316 that he uses just for mowing and towing trailers. It runs great and he has had it for many years with almost no problems. The other day he turned on the PTO and it shut off the engine. It starts and runs fine until the PTO is turned on then shuts off again. He replaced the switch with a new one from the dealer and is still having the same problem. Any ideas where he should look next? Thanks in advance for your time.
