The clasic tractor pull is Friday July 23rd at 7:30 pm. The detroit shoot out will take place at some point in between the regular classes. This class is limited to tractors that had a 371 detroit factory installed. As far as I have been told this includes Oliver, Massey, and Case(maybe others ?) The specified weight for this particular class wil be 10,000 pounds. The rules will be the same as those of any other pull hosted by the Cecil County Farm Museum. A complete listing of these rules and standard weight classes can be found on their website www.ccfarmmuseum.org

The antique tractor pull will take place on Saturday July 24th. Once again these rules and weight classes are posted on the farm museum's website. For times and a complete Cecil County Fair schedule go to www.cecilcountyfair.org

Hope to see you there

Being an Oliver 1950 owner I sure would love to see the Detroit shoot out but its just too far to Maryland from Missouri.

I would imagine ther will be a couple of Massy's, a Cockshutt and maybe a Seaman (just a guess). Maybe they will let in some of the re-powered Deere's. Swapping a Detroit into a big Deere was the way to get dependable big power in the 5010/5020's in the 60's and 70's.
