How do you turn up fuel delivery on a cav pump on a perkins motor? Is it the same as a roosa? turn in the allen key set screw under the side cover? If so, when you pull this cover, do you dump fuel and then have to do any priming? Thanks. |

| They are the easiest pump to turn up. Just bump the starter till you can see the screw in the window. Loosen the screw and the plate under it will slide. Slide it all the way. If you go the wrong way won't hardly get enough fuel to run. The other way you will get some smoke! My pump is on a 480E Case backhoe. Made it power up all the hills around here in high gear. Don't turn the fuel off while you do this and you should be all right. You know how diesels are if they get air. Vic |
