I saw in a post that a Honda rad.for the civic will fit in a 77, but the one they talked about, fills on the side on top, and the 77 fills in the center. The Civic is 1.25 inlet, and outlet, 77 is 1.50 in and out. Is there something I may have missied, or is there another one that can be used off e-bay? Thanks for any help.........

The rad in the link I posted is a Griffin for $249 plus $12 shipping & handling. Ebay is not always the cheapest option and there is no customer service included on ebay.

you can buy the same looking griffin radiator on ebay. i bought one to put on my GVI and it is 31inches tall and 19 inches wide and 2 rows of 1 inch flues. i paid 325 for it shipped. it was cheaper than summit and they have all differnet heights on ebay.

OleJohnny I see your point but this is my thinking.. I can"t keep front end down on my g in 5500 so by moving battery out front and loosing 100lbs give or take on radiator I can hang that weight out front where it will be more usefull

Like this one? Griffin from Summit works like a champ without much modification.

I would not buy the civic rad. It wont keep it cool been there. As said below go to summit and buy a griffin rad they have a good selection. Mine cost $265 and works very well I only used my electric fan once this summer.

This one matches up to an 88, I'm guessing the 77 rad is smaller but at least this gets you a starting point. I buy alot of car/truck parts from Summit and they have good prices and service.

Not to high jack your thread but I have been contemplating putting an aluminum radiator in my John Deere G and I don't know if it is worth it to change out all the water pipes or not and how big of a radiator I would need....

I personally have trouble with keeping the front of my A on the ground in even the 5000 class WItH the stock radiator so i would think it would be advantaqeous to keep that weight up front and take more off the back if you can find where to remove it. I'm struggling to find weight to take off the back of my tractor so I can put it up front to hold down the front end.
