I am pulling a J.D.50 now in the 5500 and 7000pound class and getting to old to move that much weight anymore. Looking for something to pull 3500 and 4500. Thinking of going RED . Maybe a B or a BN. Anyone have any other suggestions I am open to all ideas and colors. Thanks for any help.

| Did you see the article in the hook, about the Moline that ran over his weights and pulled them up with a electric winch. Then he balanced it with 40 lb clip on weights. I am just mad that I didn't think of it. He picked up to 1200 lb in 3-400 lb weights. I would like to know how he does pulling it.

| I would suggest keeping what you have the weight to go from one class to another weighs exactly the same whether you start at 3500 or 5500. Just my two cents.

| Hi Just reading your replys to this question and noticed the math here. 5500 to 7000lb is 1500 in extra weight. 3500 to 4500lb is only 1000lb extra so a saving of moving 500lb by my wreckning. Having heaved weights on and of my puller when I ran its a nice saving of effort over a weekend after a few runs.

| Was not trying to get in a mathematical discussion but where we pull we usually have 500 lbs between classes regardless of where you start if you are going to pull more than one class you are going to have to move 500 lbs only way you are going to move less weight is to pull fewer classes. Sounds like y'all do it different. Sorry if I ruffled any feathers.

| | Hi no Problem I came over from the U.K to canada and thats what we did added a ton or took one off for my 2 classes. pounds is new to me. I want to get back to pulling the tractor but the safety up here in Manitoba is so lacking in the options for pulls I can run it scares me being in the croud. The tractor can stay in the yard. I guess my pulling now consists of watchin you guys have fun on youtube.

| I would pull a Farmall H IN 3500&4500 LBS CLASS. The B&BN would be good for the 2700 to 3250 lbs class. We have Farmall C in the 3000 and 3250lb. classes also which has little more power.
