Install N-series injectors, cheap way to gain lots of hp, but make sure there standard body for a 2valve head or they won't fit.

Buickandeere is right, get the little things right first. Also check the air cleaners, they can have dirt up in the mesh. be sure and pull it out and wash it. Better yet put a dry air cleaner from a semi truck on it. Also find a set of injectors from a silver 92 truck engine. 6 or 8 be sure it has a turbo on it. Should be able to get them cheap from a junk yard. Vic

Not unless you want to twist off the primary fuel pump or it's drive. Two valve or four valve head? Which injectors? N or S series pistons? Blower speed? Is the cam advanced or retarded? Which cam? Type of air cleaner and exhaust? A halfway decent 3-71 will make 140HP at 2400rpm without a lot of smoke. Just a careful setting of the valve lash, the injector travel/lash and the rack/governor operation could be worth 10-20HP. An electric cooling fan instead of the belt driven fan would be worth about 5HP.
