It would help to know what if anything is already done to the motor. If its still bone stock just tuning on the dyno may get you that 10 more you need. Port polish head and port matching of the manifold will also help. |

| I agree with tuning on the dyno as there are some mods that may gain you 10hp at 2200 but cost you 10 hp at 1500-1800 rpm. Unless you are going to run low gear all the time , it will lug down , especially on a good track. |

| Id start with some dyno tuning and see where that gets you. Them 4020s were kinda different you had to reset the carb for light and heavy work. Tune it up see what it gets you could also play with the timing and see if that gains you anything. |

| I had a 4010 with LP pistons and intake. Would outpull our diesel with both of them wide open. But the gasser had no low end torque. I had the aluminum carb from a G900 Moline. I also had to wrap the manafold right above the carb with 3/8 copper tube hooked to the water-pump. To keep it from icing plum shut. |
