You can bore the block and stroke the crank. You dont have to chage carbs.

Well heres my two.. If you stay in a lite lite class, you can do a little. There was one around here years ago that ran decent for what it was. He bored and raised the compression, did all the tricks of port matching, valve bowl, intake runner work, shaving head and ran a DLTX 34 carb off a b. It actually did ok around 2500 to 2750. Like Zack said the cam drives the wheels, but we are not talking about pulling in the 4500 lb class with a 20" drawbar hopefully. There are not many pulls in TN that have a 2500 - 2750lb class.

We had a long time puller that cleaned up one year with a very hot G. He didn't end up with a warm feeling though, and the next few years he pulled with a "warm" H. He was very light weight himself so he was able to get it into the 2500 on an accurate scale. He did VERY well with it, many wins and places but not very often out in the "impolite" range. He passed on a year and a half ago, still very well liked.

| | I wouldn't pump one up too much; all power to the rear wheels is driven through the camshaft. Sort of a crazy design and lots of H tractors have bad cams because of it. I think it would be easier to build an unstyled B. Zack |

Had a friend put perkins diesel pistons in one with a overbore. It ran good but we were to young to understand on how to fine tune it.
