| It was nice to see the fellow with the really sweet Super 99 there agian this year. He wasn't there last year. That tractor is about perfect in every way.
I'd love to see that pull transfer... or dead sled weighed up with some granny's in it...! The thing really screams. I suppose if I owned it and as nice a shape as it's in I might not want to risk bustin' it either though. |

I wouldn't say the rain decided the winner... I'd say it was more of a case of operator skill and maybe being more appropriatly equipped for the change in conditions. We all pulled in the same muck.
The 820 was about 18,800 +/- a couple hundred. Before to the rain... I (the 820) was set-up very nicely. After the down pour... my lack of pulling experience and some other minor issues stopped me in a foot or two. Doh...! Looking back I see things I would've like to have done differently but like they say... hind sight is 20/20. Even if I had done things a different... less throttle... little less air... better brakes... I might have still greased out.
My hats off to the winners... and actually quite a few others that kicked my butt... !! Yep... I was beat like the prop on a rental boat...!
Congratulations guys!
