I heard today that Jeff Hale that runs the blue outlaw sled got 10yrs for messing with that little girl?? Any truth to this? If so, What is going to happen with his sled and the pulls he put on? Will his sled still be used at Tunica? Could his sled be bought?

"(ruler New post Posted: Thu Oct 22, 2009 6:27 am) I guess he wont cheat me again."

Jeff NEVER cheated ANYBODY in his tractor pulls, including YOU! If you don't like his rules, don't pull with him, it is really that simple, but don't go talking trash about him without any substance to back it up, and certainly don't do it anonymously. If you have a problem about his pulls, just tell him what it is. He may not like it, but he WILL try to do what he can to fix it and make you happy.

No truth to it yet. His next court appearance isn't until November 10, 2009. The Judge is entertaining motions before the sentencing hearing on that day at 1 pm. You can view the docket yourself at; http://apps.courts.ky.gov/dockets/DocketResults.aspx?pageIndex=2&CountyCourt=0241&Division=CI&EventDate=11/10/2009

I also looked on the newspaper's website and found no mention of it in todays edition, and a search of their archives turned up only a mention of Jeff in connection with the Jerry Ford Memorial Pull at Trigg County KY on October 1st, 2009, as reported in the September 26-27, 2009 weekend edition.

So, is his sled for sale? I doubt it. As for his sled being at Tunica this year, I looked over the Mean Green website and saw no mention of any sled, or how many would be in use this year, so your guess is as good as mine, but I have heard through the grapevine that someone else out-bid Jeff for the slot, and that there will still be two active sleds with another in reserve in case of sled breakage, as usual.

we as a forum could have more taste in our questions, as well as some of our answers. The question is about the sled, not what happened to him, or blaming a poor pulling performance on someone else with the old "I was cheated" gripe.

I was told that it was in the Kentucky New Era Newspaper? I was wondering what will happen to the sled. If someone else is going to run it or will it be sold. THAT IS MY QUESTION!!!

The sleds to be used at Tunica this year was put out to bids. I know Mahnke's sleds are one that will be down there.
