mlpankey 10-18-2009 14:44:00 70.153.142.5 121482 Report to Moderator	boys get the longest rod you can find if it dont fit build a deck plate so it will. lengthen the push rods so you can hear the harmonics off of them playing doodlen banjos. keep that piston dwelling for as many degrees of crank rotation you can . cause if its not moving its not applying any force to the crank pin. that seams to be when my squish band brothers began spouting off . ps dont follow this advice its wrong. bad wrong . I really dont know much but for the most part if its junk its my junk if its a bear its my bear . This is my third ac build since 2002 . It has all the stuff we thought we learned from the other two and some extra stuff we learned from the purchase of a blown engine along with hours on a flowbench looking for the valve angle to get the most air as soon as the valve comes off the seat and what size valve stem even shown the best gains .Of coarse my check book covered what work I and eddie couldnt do. this engine hasnt made it to the dyno yet and we are allready talking about what we will try different next time . was the work done wrong no i dont believe so but i am never satisfied always wanting more horses. yes i believe they are more to tractor pulling than horsepower such as weighting the tractor correctly reading the track surface correctly. i do think however that a horsepower advantage does make mistakes in the other areas a little less of a mistake when missed.   [Reply]   [No Email]
