mlshvb 10-16-2009 06:43:56 12.4.26.248 121383 Report to Moderator	I found a guy that had a set of 18.4-38 BFG Silvertowns for sale. Were these tires radials, and how do they compare to powersavers? If I'm thinking right, these are really old tires and they have thin bars at about 45 degrees. I'm looking for a good set of radials for tractor pulling in the ST. Louis area if anyone know of some. I have the feeling that the silvertowns are one of the best bias tires, but I don't know how they would stand up against the powersavers. Properly prepared they will pull with anything out there. I have a set of 15.5 x 38 that my cousin uses on a DC4 that regularly beat 18.4s on very strong tractors. JMHO, mEl   [Reply]   [No Email]
