Busted a tubeless rear tire on my green 5010 in road gear .... some chunks caused lots of black scuffing on the (dull) green paint in and outside the right wheel well before I got her stopped and pulled off the road. Any good ideas on how to remove them without doing damage to the paint? Thanks in advance for all your input. Ralph in Oklahoma. |

| SOS pads, lots of water and rub lightly. Works good on race car paint, no scratches as long as you don't apply too much pressure. |

If you use the clay bar, you can apply lots of pressure and you don't have to worry about scratching the paint. |

| You might also try a 'Detailing Clay Bar'. Can be purchased at most auto stores. |

| Go to your parts store and some Dupont First KLean. Wipe it on with a clean cloth. Take a dry cloth and wipe it off before it flashes. Works good to use on a large area before you buff/polish/wax. Stuff is not cheap. It is what the pros use. |

| I have used brake parts cleaner to remove scuffs in the past.
Good luck! |

| I would try to get most of it off with napatha but it will take rubbing compound to really make it go away. |
