Mandomaniac 09-28-2012 15:59:02 24.40.221.194 Report to Moderator	Been hard at work on my 601 with 172 engine and 720 loader (had to split for new clutch, etc and also bit for adding power steering assembly) Figured since I had my poor beast about completely torn down, I would make it pretty and last a bit. Bought some Majic acrylic paint with hardener from TSC in Ford Red. Anyone know how close this will be to original paint for a Ford 601? Hopefully reasonably close....but if you have experience with this paint, please let me know. Thanks! [Reply]   [No Email]

As much trouble as it is to paint a tractor, if you really care I would use a automotive paint. Otherwise in 3-4 years you might have a pink tractor. [Reply]  [No Email]

The powder coat color was hot orange or something like that. It is not quite as orange as it should be but I like it. [Reply]  [No Email]
