What product are you using as reducer? That may be where the problem is. I put 12 oz in a gallon yesterday and it went on about right. [Reply]   [No Email]

They are usualy a one to one mix for the paint then mix the clear with a small part of hardener. Hope this helps. good luck. [Reply]  [No Email]

Either use JD reducer or any enamel reducer, not lacquer thinner. JD paint is a synthetic enamel. It would not hurt to buy some hardner from tsc or auto paint store to mix with your paint. May make it shine a little more and stronger as far as fuel and coolant resistant on hoods. [Reply]  [No Email]
