I'd like to make a tank I could dip baremetal parts in to primer them thoroughly. What LIQUID will float on top of enamel type primer? Back before time began I was in a fab shop that dip-primed their ornamental iron work in perhaps Rustoleum....what did I miss? |

| Primer will give the best and most uniform coverage when sprayed. Dipping will result in uneven coverage including runs. I have tried dipping something as simple as bolts. It does not work, at least for me. |

| Henry ford did a lot of dip painting on T's and A's including fenders. |

| Thats all very true about Henrys Painting..in that day.. but even Tractor Enthusiasts Now,are More particular than they Were... If it Got painted .. that was all that mattered... LOL! Larry KF4LKU |
