Sometimes a greenish stain is an indication of corrosion due to a leak. To be on the safe side I would take it to a radiator shop to do a pressure test for any leaks. How was the flow? If it's never been cleaned it may need to be rodded out. Tell them you'll paint it yourself. Be careful of the fins, they can be fragile.

| Thanks, doesn't leak, runs ok, engine doesn't over heat. Raditor looks alittle rough, carefully streightened some fins. I plan on painting over the stain with a black enamel, hope it works.
