A sincere thank you to all, especially Rod(NH) and CNKS for their numerous posts on this forum dating back years regarding metal prep, paint choices and especially health safety! I've learned a ton. I hope to paint my 8N in the next couple of months and don't have a fresh air supply system. I have visited different paint distributors in N.Ohio and been told on many occasions "if your only painting 1 or 2 tractor don't worry about the ISO's". Considering I walk my hunting dog 15-20 miles a week just to keep her(and me)in shape, I am worried about the ISO's. So with that said I've read countless past posts and hopefully I have the right recommended non-ISO paints. I should preface this to say that my primer coat will be PPG MP170. 1.) Dupont Centari Ultra 1K pak acrylic enamel 2.) Dupont Nason fast dry acrylic enamel 3.) PPG MAE acrylic enamels w/o hardener such as (#70075 vermillion red )etc. Do I have the correct list ? |

| You're welcome. Yes, you have the correct list as far as I'm concerned. There probably are others in other lines but I have no particular knowledge of them. I certainly would put the Centari at the top of that list. Pricey for what it is nowadays but an easy-to-spray, quality product. Has been for many, many years. No problem using it over the MP170. |
