I have a full quart of Jasco Prep and Prime which is no longer made. The instructions are worn off. Does anybody know what they are.? Do you use it full strength, how long do you leave on and how to remove? I need to use it on my NAA and CJ7. |

| I haven't heard of it. From the name it is probably a "metalprep" type product, but no promises. Those are diluted, applied to bare metal and then washed off after a few minutes. They are designed for NEW metal to avoid having to sand. You are going to sand or have sanded your tractor and Jeep, therefore you do not need it. Same principle as the post below regarding etch priming sandblasted metal. It is not necessary. |

| Rod's link indicates that it is a rust converter used on old metal, the exact opposite of what I thought. Both contain phosphoric acid. My preference is mechanical removal of the rust on tractors. More suitable for rusty implements, etc. I will use similar products on inaccessible areas that are rusty. |
