I was wondering bout this tractor. I have never heard of it. They say it will fit in the back of a 8" pickup bed. Does anyone know about it. They are asking 1500.00 and looks like it needs front tires. It also runs. I am just clueless on this one. Thanks Todd |

| I had a Centaur KG model. As el Toro said they were used by road commission for mowing. Mine had a 4 spd and road gear was fast enough to turn your chest hair white! It would run 30 mph with 24" rubber. They also came with a compressor in between the engine and trans. 1500 is a bit much ,800 in that condition. |

| The state of MD used these tractors for cutting the banks along the highways. This was back in the early 1950's. They had a road gear, hydraulics and they had a sickle bar mower. I think they also used one for pulling a gang of reel mowers to mow the grass area between dual highways. I saw my first rotary mower in 1954 when my brother bought one soon after he was discharged from the Air Force. I think $1500.00 is too much for that tractor. Hal |
