Not enough info. It could be bad injection pump, bad fuel pump, worn fuel pump cam, plugged pickup line in tank, plugged tank valve, plugged fuel pump. Or maybe an air leak in a line. |

| I would bet, that the incoming fuel line, at the injection pump, has a very fine screen in it that is plugged with crap. Had a Massey 275, with a CAV pump, would run for maybe 45 minutes then the rpm would just drop off to nothing. Shut off for 5 seconds then run for another 45 minutes. I pulled the cover off the back of the pump, anc checked the vanes, cleaned with carb cleaner, ran for 90 minutes. Then noticed a small screen, in the back housing itself, rremoved it, carb cleaned it.Problem solved, took me about 4 hours to find it, after cleaning the, tank, and whole fuel system. Hope that helps. |
