| | Hi Guys, That's my 44-16 in Antique Power. Never knew this site existed till the other day and just found these posts. I've got some original literature from Al Roe who was the engineer for the company. All is photocopied and really pretty sad looking, but my friend is trying to photoshop them a little bit. Unfortunately Mr. Roe has passed away so no more info is available in that regard. As for models: there was an agricultural, front blade, front loader and a rear loader. Maybe more? Plus they built a big unit with a Chrysler Industrial or optional Diesel power. One was made before the company went broke. I have one pic (really poor) of that also. I'll try to compile all this crap together for those that want it. I'll keep you posted, or call me at: 330-273-5560. That's my shop # and I'm usually there. My serial # is: P1033B Yours is? Ray |

| A family friend gave us one. I am waiting for my son to be a year or so older so he can really help with the resto. Not running (and I accidentally destroyed the carb with a riding lawnmower.) I have collected pictures from different people over the years. Only restored one I have seen was on RFD TV care of a Mr. Ed Spies (sp?). I wonder if they will sell a single issue of the Antique Power magazine.... |

| Still looking?? Don't recall seeing original post, but that's not unusual... That's probably one of the little 4WD/skidsteers built around 46-47-48?? If so, may have Cont N62 4cyl 23/8x31/2?? Don't have any other real info in my notes, except built by Detroit Tractor Corporation, Detroit, Mich, and generally considered a garden tractor... Google Detroir 44 16 and a couple hits come up, mixed in with sports hits; more come up under Detroit tractor corporation (both on advenced search, exact phrase). If N62, parts NLA thru NAPA or equivalent?? If not, montesequipment.com (Chicago) or parossmachinery.com (Dallas). Good luck. |
