| Sorry for the confusion. Oliver Fan said that it was built in Bellevue, Ohio. The picker is located 9 miles west of Rainelle, West Virginia. The guy that owns it now bought from a guy in Columbus, Ohio. |

| If he still has it, he would probably sell it. He is up in years and not able to do anything with it. It has been sitting outside for years though. You may not want it. |

Re: Cockshutt Corn Picker Question in reply to C. Amick, 02-27-2013 18:53:36

|
| | That is a CO-OP corn picker built before Cockshutt bought the Company. It was built by the National Farm Machibery Cooperative in Bellevue, Ohio and Shelbyville, Indiana. They were sold by the different state CO-OP's in the mid west. Cockshutt later bought the company, but they didn't build any pickers. Instead, they sold pickers built by Oliver, Moline or Massey. |

| Thanks for the information. Did the National Farm Machinery Coop have their own factories or did a farm equipment manufacturer build it for them? |

| That corn picker was built at the Bellevue, Ohio factory in the late 1940's or very early 1950's. This was several years before Cockshutt bought the company. |

|
| | Correction: The correct name of the company was National Farm Machinery Cooperative, Inc. Cockshutt DID NOT sell any pickers built by Massey. Both Cockshutt and Massey sold pickers built by Moline. |
