id rebuild the one you got , then you know what you have, ive worked on alot of these cummins engines in the machine shop , they dont wear much , normally you can get away with new std bearing crank cant just be turned anywhere there flame hardend , cyls. are very hard normally dont wear much , you can hone them in the tractor or if you want to take the time and money send it to the shop and have them straightend , cummins gives you like .006 tollerance so it will still be std. bore , if pistons are good just clean and rering them , so for the most part shop cost is all in head work, you should be able to rebuild and have less money in new engine then putting another in there
