My 1975 model 2-105 is very jerky when engaging the PTO. It never slips under load, so I'm wondering what adjustment I can do so the clutches slip a little bit upon engagement. I slowly push the pto lever forward and it doesn't do much and then all of a sudden its fully engaged. Any tips? |

| All the information posted below is true. Now I also remebered tha durring production of the 55 series a change was made to the PTO control valve. What I forgot is that new style valve is adjustable. Next, is there any interfernce anywhere in the linkage that may be causing you problems? Also if I ws to check the circuit I would take a pressure test to se if the pressure is correct. My 2 cents worth. J |

| Do you know what the valve adjustment procedure is? The PTO is always engaged at low rpm, but it engages in a fraction of a second, which makes the tractor grunt and the implement to really jerk at first. I hope there is something I can adjust to make it work better. |

| it's hydraulic activated. you don't feather them forward like a mechanically activated one. probably nothing wrong. |
