JWL 01-18-2013 10:31:01 69.157.9.37 Report to Moderator	I have a White 2-135 which had a new clutch and over/under put into it a couple years ago. Lately it seems as if the clutch is slipping at times and obviously it can not be a result of a bad/old clutch since it was recently replaced. I was wondering if anyone has a copy of the tech manual and could send me a scan of it for the seciton describing the clutch adjustment OR just describe to me what the settings are suppose to be (i.e. how much pedal/linkage travel before clutch is suppose to disengage, etc.). I have a feeling the linkage may be set to tight but I don't know what the proper specs are. Any help would be appreciated!!! [Reply]   [No Email]

You should be able to push the pedel down about one half, to one inch, before you feel it get firm. That is when the throw out bearing comes in contact with the release fingers. Rule of thumb is 1/8 of a inch of gap from fingers to bearing if you have an inspection hole. I have experianced slip at low rpms out of my 2-135 and found that at low speed the over under pressure was a little low and would let it slip. I have had to keep my rpms up to avoid this. I hope to rebuild my over under this winter. [Reply]  [No Email]
