Chief 83 01-11-2013 16:36:09 24.21.76.219 Report to Moderator	I'm getting diesel in the crankcase. I know it could be the lift pump but it was rebuilt about 3 years ago, or it could be the injection pump (hopefully not) which I've never done anything with. I think the diesel is getting into the basement even when the tractor is not running. Is that possible? If so, would that point to the lift pump or the injection pump? I can't find a new lift pump so may have to convert it to electric if that ends up being the issue. If it is the lift pump it is going to be awhile til that gets fixed just due to the cost. It is easy o change and you do not need to reove the pump to do it. It is still available. I know several places that would have it in stock. It might be wise to change it as well. You can go to their web site and type in Oliver. The pump costs about $110.00. Korves 618-939-6681 has a rebulid kit for $35.25. You might check the tractor parts section of this web site.
