Got a coop E3 with a d17 allis carb on it. Runs good but idles high. Adjusted idle screw all the way out but it stills idles high. Any suggestions. |

| Also while you have the carb off and the idle speed screw backed out check if the butterfly is centered in the carb housing when closed. If it is off center it may not close as far as it should, loosening the screws and centering the butterfly on the throttle shaft has fixed the problem on some for me in the past. |

| I'm not sure about a d 17 carb it my just be wrong all together causing it. or check a make sure your carb butterfly isnt rubbing the bottom of the manifold not allowing to move all the way I had one do that on a cockshutt 20 after i put a steiner manifold on the hole was just to small and maybe in your case your butterfly is to big if you have the original manifold. or check all of your linkage it may need adjusted. |
