If somebody asked me to pick the one that would get the most looks at a show and would likely be the only one in the US,I'd probably have to pick the SAME built 462. Even knowing what it is,I always thought the G1355 was the toughest looking Oliver ever. The 1865 is a rare bird that looks tough and would be on my list too,along with the 2655. I wish I could find the 500 that the neighbor bought new back in the early 60s. I know where it got traded in on a new Ford,but nobody seems to remember where it went. Problem was, the sales guy was a dyed-in-the-wool Oliver man, and he thought the Oliver badged David Brown was slightly less than worthless, so his sales efforts were not the best. Don't know what ever happened to it. As far as the Oliver I'd like, I guess I'd go with the 995 Lugmatic, too. Just don't wanna pay "market price", LOL! [Reply]  [No Email]

G1355 01-01-2013 13:10:13 67.224.60.152 Report to Moderator	Re: Most collectible/rare Oliver in reply to rrlund, 01-01-2013 08:51:08   Never seen a 8160 before looks like the fenders are like a white fenders on the cab but the rest of the cab looks differant, and the grill is like the 55s with the lights, how many of these were built, were they just like a 1855 or a 1955 besides the cab or were they completely differant, what motor was used in it. Don't know where he came up with the number designation,but he had a heck of a nice set of decals made up for it,black background with gold lettering.
