mine is a 1947, don't know nothing about wheel recovering but I haven't found much for any parts for these tractors, cause I'm in need of a water pump, and would like to get side panels and the parts to add a rear pto.

Also wondering if you or anyone else knows of anyone making/recovering the unstyled 99 steering wheels. I checked last year and couldn't find anyone.

WOW, Oliver! I thought I was the only one working on an Oliver 99. Yours looks almost identical to mine, however you are much further along than I am. Just got the engine out of mine and started cleaning the frame. Have replaced the rear axle bearings, installed seals instead of the felts, and put o-rings around the axles. Tranny looks pretty good but I need to replace the bearing at the big belt pulley. Will start on the engine when the weather warms. Yours is looking great and I know you are ready to get it all done. Normally I am on the Case forum but decided to look tonight on the Oliver forum because I would like to find a starter ring for my 1939 Oliver 99. Can You help in that area? Oh yes, Happy New Year.---Derrol in Texas---

I thought I was the only one as well for a tractor that was made as many years as this one I don't see very many, I may be further but you did alot more work than I have. Everything sounded good on this one so I didn't feel the need to open anything up. Just the radiator needs to get the rust cleaned out and water pump replace/rebuilt, and gas tank patched
