Metal grating like you would see in a farrowing house or used for flooring on a power plant. There is a water bath under the grating which collects the overspray, keeps everything from getting sticky with overspray.

Mitch, that tractor is going to look awesome. Is that your paint booth or does it belong to a body shop? I really like the way that is set up. Beautiful! I can"t paint anymore for health reasons but if I were able to and wanted to do any amount of it I would have a set up similar to that. I did too much work in poorly lit sheds with too little protection.

It belongs to a neighbor. Dad poured the concrete under the paint booth for him, and he's going to paint a couple of dads tractors in return. The neighbor is a mechanic now, but was a professional body man, and now he's building a shop to do that work on the side. Its a pretty nice setup, has all the proper equipment, no breathing paint fumes in there. Amazing what a difference it makes when you're not trying to do that on a dark dirty shop floor.
