There is an Oliver 1610 loader on a sale coming up, and I was wondering what that loader is sized for. I have an Oliver 1850 and a white 2-105 and looking for a loader. Would it fit on the 2-105 without any or much modification? |

I have a 1610 loader on a 1750 diesel with loaded rear tires, and while it is not the best loader out there its fine for what I do. I move, and feed 4x5 rounds, clean up manure, and everything else you would expect a loader tractor to do on the farm. You have to be smarter than the machine, and remember its not a bull dozer.

If the loaders are really sized for an Oliver 88 or equivalent tractor, then I"m probably not interested. It"s on a Wheeler Auction November 24 in New Haven, MO if your interested.

It will fit, but it won't last very long. A 1650 can wreck a 1610 loader pretty easily!

So the loader is pretty light and made for a 16XX size tractor? All I plan to do with it is to move 4X5 bales. Would you still stay away if just using it for hay and no grubbing? Can you still get seal kits for the loaders?

The problem is, you won't have any warning and "snap", there it went. The tractor won't flinch.
