jordan hackman 10-28-2012 12:46:14 69.66.165.210 Report to Moderator	Re: Oliver plows in reply to 145 Workhorse, 10-28-2012 04:07:34   well it depends. if you want the younger stuff the biggest i can thing of is what everyone else says with the big white plows and late olivers. but if you only want a 5 to 6 bottom you could go to a 4440 which is a 4 bottom with the option of adding one or two bottoms, we currently have a 4 and a 5 bottom 4440. most big plows would be located in the plains area. i know a 10 bottom flex plow for sale in ibelieve is Idaho, and i know that there is a 4440 5 bottom for sale in Canada. if you want that go Agdealer.com and type in oliver its for or five pages in. Oliver made the exact same thing but I do not know the model. About 2 years ago I saw an Oliver 6 bottom trailer plow at a used equipment dealer by Mora Minnesota. It was a newer style with the rectangular backbone, only one that I have ever seen. There is a good chance that it is still sitting there. [Reply]  [No Email]

We sold several of those in 6 bottom sizes and there was one behind a Verstile I don't remember how large it was. However they made this "Flexback plow" in the 70's It was a combination hook up of 2 plows that was available in sizws of from 9 to a 12 bottom size. [Reply]  [No Email]

The model 448 was a rigid frame plow and was availabie up to 10 bottoms with 16" or 18" bottoms. That model was replaced by the 449 with the same number of bottoms and cutting widths. The models 2549 and 2588 were flex-back plows with a 4, 5 or 6 bottom drawn plow in the front and a 4, 5 or 6 bottom 3 point plow in the rear. The 5549 had 16" or 18" bottoms for a maxium cutting width of 218 inches. The 5588 had 18" or 20" bottoms with a maxium cutting width of 240 inches. About a month ago I see a real nice Oliver 450 cushion trip 6X16 plow that was going to be sold at a sale. I don't know what it brought. [Reply]  [No Email]
