Here"s picture of our Oliver 1850. Cleaned her up and gave it a fresh coat of wax this weekend. Looks pretty good for original condition. I need to fix a leak on the fuel lift pump. Mine is dripping gas out weep/vent hole on the bottom. Are rebuilt kits/parts available? New ones for the gas engines are $100+ bucks. I know some later models and other Olivers were upgraded to a electric pump instead of mechanical ones. Are these still available and are the cheaper or any better? Thanks for any ideas. |

Nice looking 1850, Ollie770. Korves has the lift pump kits. You can check them online also. |

| I thought Korves just had the pump kits for the super and 3 digit style of lift pumps. This one looks very similar to the pump on a 1850 Perkins, except for no primer lever. Guess I will have to call them to find out. |

| There was also a kit to convert those engines to electric fuel pumps. |

| That must be what my father in-laws 1750 gas has because it looks to be "factory" and the electric pump bolts up in the same spot as the mech. pump. Are they still available from Agco or aftermarket? I am lookin for the lowest cost option of fixing the leak. |

| Nice looking 1850. I have the Perkins diesel in my 1850 and you can buy rebuild kits for the mechanical lift pump. I see a lot of tractors with electric fuel pumps put on them. Don't know if they are any cheaper than mechanical. I've heard you might have to regulate the pressure to the carb with a electric pump. Beyond that they work. Is that cab stock? Mine has the bus doors. Do you have a picture of the back of the cab? PK |

| The cab is not factory. It is a Cozy Cab that I think was designed to fit Olivers. Its not a bad cab, doors swing out but wish they went clear to the platform. I talked an Oliver guy at a show this summer and he told me if I unbolt the step, the whole cab flips up and back for repairs. I haven't tried it yet but the brackets on the fenders sure make more sense now ! I will try to get a pic of the back of cab for you. |
