I am working on a 1550, and ordered a new set of gauges from online. They came in, and they look ok, but the colors on the gauges dont match each other 100%, and they look kind of plasticy. Also, they have different back lights, they are internal, not a little removable lightbulb like my old ones. And to top it off, they have more posts on the back than the old ones did. Is this just the way new gauges are? Or is their a different place to get better gauges from? Thank you, Josh |

| I know you would be taking a chance they might not work, but how about used salvaged gauges?A set from all 50 Series tractors should be the same. |

| | I'm fairly certain they are all coming from Tisco so no matter where you buy, you'll be faced with the same issue. If it was me, since the reproduction gauges look hideous and are about as cheap as they come, you might as well seek out a set of VDO, Stewart, autometer, etc gauges. No, they won't look like originals, but the reproductions don't look like originals and appear to be pretty cheap so you might as well shoot for getting a good gauge. Just my $.02. |

| Where did you get the gauges from? I would order them from Rick at agpartsfirst.com They are an old Oliver dealer and have quality parts and excellent service. |

| I would imagine that if you look around you can find a better gauge, or maybe even have the old ones rebuilt. Here at the shop I have noticed that between our aftermarket suppliers the quality varies. We try to go with the best one, but we don"t always get it right. |
