I am painting a 1550 and wonder about some of the details. Alternator? Lug bolts? Screen behind the grill? I think I am clear on the rest of it, but not sure what color these get painted. Anything I am missing? Thank you, Josh |

| Wheel bolt (Lug bolts) were not painted. The wheels when they came down the assembly line were painted and the tractor was already painted too |

| | Alternator was green. I'm gonna say those lug bolts were unpainted, but I took the wheels off mine and painted the hubs green along with the tractor and painted the bolts green too. I think that grille screen was just galvanized unpainted too. Too bad you can't get a picture of Sherrys NOS 1550. I don't remember which issue it was in or I'd look it up. |
