| Once again, he is at a Cockshutt convention, but call him phone number, leave a message and give a way for him to get back to you. It's possible that computers crash and email isn't the most reliable way to do the initial contact. |

| I agree, I have bought several parts from Phil and he is a great guy to deal with, is very helpful and given the amount of parts he has and his knowledge he could charge ridiculous prices for what he has to sell, but he doesn't. I am thankful to have him as a source for Cockshutt parts. |

| I have heard the name on here from time to time, do not know the man. The poster probably figured like I would that he has a full time shop-repair parts business with a 9 to 5 work time. Possibly with some hired help. And not as a part time job. We can easily guess wrong on something like that. |

| I have to put in another plug for Phil in this post. As said, Phil (as well as a few other Cockshutt enthusiasts) is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge on Cockshutt tractors. He is a very busy man with a day job and busts his butt to send orders out before the UPS/USPS deadline. I have purchased parts from Phil and without his knowledge I would have been sunk. He doesn't always immediately answer email or phone calls because it's just him and his wife who tirelessly help out people wanting parts and a little advice or knowledge. In my opinion, if that wait is not okay with the Cockshutt owner/restorer, they need to collect a different brand. |

| Well said Caleb. He drives a truck 12-14 hours a day.
With John Deere and Farmall there are countless part suppliers/dealers. With Cockshutt there are just a few and Phil is the one we all look at for the mass majority of ours parts. It is a lot of work for one man to keep going. Once Phil is gone...I don't know what the heck we are going to do. I know I don't have the quarter of the knowledge Phil has and I sure don't have the time to sell parts like he does let along store them, organize them, and then haul them around Canada and the US for us crazy collectors. |
