I'm interested in starting a collection of the 550-990 series of olivers. Specifically the 1965 model year. I currently have a 550 that came from my father which is my keep-sake. Can you give me opinions on collectability, price, and problems with this series? |

| This will be a pretty small collection. The only other 3 digit that was built as late as '65 is the 770. |

| Good luck. If you want tractors only built in 1965, you are going to have a big problem. The last 660's were built in 1964, the last 880's in 1963 and the last 990's in 1961. |

| Thank's for the information. It makes sense now, that I've been looking for those models and not finding them. Apparently they were moving to the 1600-1800 series in those years. |
