Ok, I have been looking everywhere and I can not find out what year this old girl is. The serial number is 4A398, and of all the websites I can not find a serial number that starts with a 4. My other question is, there are very few details on just an E model, I find ED, EG,but no E. What am I doing wrong or am I just not looking in the right spots? Thanks everyone for any help. |

| Correctly it is an EG, but in practise the gas one are usually referred to just as E, and the diesels ED.
There was no E76, so far as I know. The track pads are usually 8in. wide, so taking off 4in a side to get the center to center measurement, your's is a 68 gauge...the widest.
I have owned an EHG68 and an E38. Last year I sold them to a buyer in Sweden!

| ED = Diesel
EG = Gasoline
They came in at least four widths (or gauges) 32, 38, 62, 68 (inches wide, from center to center of tracks)
The narrowest (32 I think) was called an EN. |

| So is mine just an E, or is it an EG, that is 76" center to center on the tracks. I plan on taking a look at the book also if it has valuable cletrac information in it. |
