Hey Guys, is this the starter everyone is putting on? I would think it would fit more models than the ones listed. This is the cheapest price I've found on them.

I bought my starter from these people for our 77 pulling tractor 2 years ago, it still works great. I sent them an email with a description of the engine and the existing starter and they shipped the correct starter to me.

Now be aware they are not all the same so just looking for "the cheapest," might get you in trouble since they are not all coming from the same place. We carry an Indian made version of the 28MT and if I was a betting man, that's a Chinese version. It's hard since they are coming out of all corners of the world now and I haven't bought every one to compare side by side. And does it matter? I can't comment since I haven't tested them. What I do know is how our starter performs and the attached video shows how ours tested out. Audio/Video clip:Untitled Audio Video

Looks like Amazon's about the same. I had to wonder though. I needed one for my Yamaha 4 wheeler last week and got one there for $56. Cheapest I found anywhere else was 92.
