Do any of you guys use loctite on the 12 point rod bolts for a 310 when assembling? Or just torque the bolts with the threads oiled? |

| A couple thoughts for you. Has a Loctite factory rep come in to talk about proper use of their products. To my surprise, loctite is not a substitute for lubricating a bolt for assembly. So, if you went with loctite only, you may be trading off proper joint preload for fastener locking. Improper preload may result in fatiguing of the fastener ect. If it was up to me, I would just follow the factory guidelines and not start my own experiment. |

| My suggestion is to use the locktite! I used it on my 310 in my 1755 and ran the heck out of it for 3 years it now is in a puller 880 and is going strong. |
