cummins olivers

just wondering how many of you guys have olivers with the cummins engines. I know they are talked about all the time and i just wondered how many people actually have one. Most people talk about doing it.

The farm I work for has an 1800 FWA with a 5.9 cummins and duals all the way around, and also a 1750 FWA with a 5.9 cummins. They both run and operate flawlessly.

Would love to see a pic of the 1800FWA with duals all the way around. Most of the modern FWA around here are now running duals up front too.

I forgot one, our 2655 has a cummins engine too! I dont recall what size however, I'll try and look and update.

I currently have an 1850 with a 5.9L turbo Cummins at 155hp that was at the HPOCA summer show this year.

I have a 1655 with a 5.9L Cummins with no charger at 85HP that we took to dover a few years ago.

I have an 1855 with a 5.9L Cummins at 125HP that has a narrow row cab and a westendorf loader.

I have an HD 2150 MFWA with a 5.9L Cummins turbo aftercooled at 210HP

And I am currently working on an M-5 Moline narrow front that I am putting a 3.9L cummins into at about 60Hp. This is one of my winter projects, so we will see how this goes.

Here are some pictures of the Cummins Olivers working on the farm...

Enjoy.

real nice tracors shep! id like to see some pics of the 1655. I have a 1655 and have always said if the engine on it goes out i would put a cummins in it.

Oh the 1655 is a sweetheart. Everyone loves to see and drive that tractor including me.

It is probably one of the tougher cummins conversions to do, because there is so little room to work and there are things you cant do to help the conversion like you can an 1850, but it sure makes a really sweet running tractor when it is done.

It is not the most powerful or the most used tractor on the farm, but it and my G-950 moline three speed are my favorate two tractors to drive out of all of them. Just a super little chore tractor.

If you ever get into doing your 1655 let me know, there are really some tricks to making this one work right. I have another 1655 narrow front with the 283 Waukesha in it and when it dies it will get a cummins as well.

Enjoy.

We have a white 2-105 with a 5.9 @ 190hp and a White 2-155 mfwd with an 8.3 in. It's set around 235 Hp

Put a 6BTA in a 2-135. Sure makes for a dang nice machine that sips the fuel. Love it!

I'm working on putting a 4bt in a 1650 which is a bigger project than the 2-135. However, if it turns out 1/2 as nice as the 2-135 I should be very happy with it.

wow 235 hp is a lot! but for that engine that really isnt pushing it too much. I bet both those tractors are beasts!

It's a real good match. We used to run the 1755 on it which was fine for 2nd or 3rd crop. 1st crop gave it a real work out. With the 2-135, I can run the impeller rather aggressively in heavy first crop and still run as fast as I can maintain control without bumping into the torque curve.

I wonder if the man in the picture had his calf? He looks like he was ready to come fresh any minute:)!

alright soudns great. You have a G950 too? the Oliver/molines G750,G850,G950 and so on are really sweet tractors!

Careful, you are getting your numbers mixed up.

The Olivers that were painted yellow were the G-750, G-850, and G-940 The G-950 is a pure moline that was part of the moline string G-950, G-1050, and G-1350 tractors. They had to change the yellow 1855 to a G-940 in order not to have two tractors with the same number.

Here is the G-950 Moline in front of the 1655 cummins in a tractor ride we were on this summer.

my bad i forgot the 950 was from the bigger moline series. But wow thats a nice tractor. You mainly a hobby farmer? It seems you have a lot of really nice tractors. Im envious.
