This adapter will not go far enough on y 2N...the area where the nut and bolt goes swells out and does not go all the way on my spline. Do they make a ORC that is 1-1/8 male and a 1-3/8 female ? Thanks.

remember to re measure you pto shaft after adding the adapter to make sure it does ot bottom the shaft out.

adding a orc decreases the length between your pto stub and the input shaft to the mower. this sometimes makes the colapsable pto shaft bottom out and BIND. this usually damaged one or both bearings and seal assemblies on the tractor and mower!

You don't need an ORC on a finish mower.
I would just get the little sleeve type adapter for about $6 or so.
The trouble with using an ORC is you usually have to shorten your drive shaft to accomodate the extra length of the orc.
Then when you gut a different tractor that doesn't require an orc you'll have to buy new drive shafts for everything.
While I agree you want an orc on a rotary mower they are just a PIA for everything else.

Wish you lived close to me in central Alabama. I've got one of those orc's that I would give to you. Don't want to fool with shipping though.
