12V Alternator Kit ?

I usually roll my own, but I've heard the guys say the ones sold
here on YT are really good as far as the brackets go and they
have the correct 5/8 inch pulley instead of the 1/2 inch one.
They are all one wire alternators I believe.
I personally prefer the three wire setup.

I myself like the 3 wire setup best. You can buy just the brackets from this site and get your alternator from your local auto supply.

I have three 8Ns each with the 12 volt one wire
kits sold by this site and I have not had any
problem with any of them. The oldest was installed
8 years ago. They have the correct small pulley so
they start to charge at a low rpm. I don"t know the
speed but all three start to charge as soon as I
start the tractors. Each set for weeks in the
winter and the batteries are not discharged. Works
as intended, easy installation contains all the
parts you need except battery and not to expensive.

Thank you for all the replies.

I have a side mount distributor, can anyone help me out with the right part number, if I order from YT?

Thanks again!!
